The Renwick Gallery of the "Smithsonian American Art Museum" and CRAFT (Craft Retailers and Artists for Tomorrow) will present a day long symposium titled: "Crafting a Nation"as part of American Craft Week in Washington D.C., Friday October 8 at 9:30AM to 5PM in the McEvoy Auditorium, lower level. The Renwick Gallery is the decorative arts and fine crafts arm of the museum. Taken from the Smithsonian American Art Museum 2010 Fall Calendar sent to us here at Nourot. It is a 20 page matt paper catalog of all their programs. And donor pictures include George Lucas and Steven Spielberg. Aparently they had allot to do with a film series to compliment the Rockwell painting show.
