Gift Suite: It's in the Bag

We got to live the fabulous life. We want to thank you so much! Above title links to Hollywood Today's review of us and the Gift Suite. But read on here first!

Nourot Glass is now part of the households of many Oscar nominees, presenters and winners.Among the ones we met who won or were nominated are: the screen writer for "Milk", Dustin Lance from West Salinas; Anil Kapor from the cast of Slumdog Millionare (the game show host); Michael Sheen star of Frost Nixon (David Frost); Michael Collins art direction "The Dutchess"; Frank Eulnar, sound "Iron Man"and Debra Shute, "Revolutionary Road".

Young movie stars were in abundance at the GBK SLS Hotel Oscar Gift Suite we attended February 19--21. Celebrity pics comein soon so check back often here!

Annalyn McCord, "90210"; Kate Flannery, "The Office"; Joel Murphy, "Mad Men", Kim Whitley, "CSI"; Erin Cummings, "Dollhouse"; Julia Ling, "Chuck"; Catherine Dent, "The Shield", Bradley Rapier, winner "Super Stars of Dance"; Cody Longo, " Fame" and "Bring It On": Miami" and "The Border"; Michael Rady, "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants"; and our two personal favorites: Keenan Thompson from "Saturday Night Live" and Nick Verrano from "Project Runway".

Nick Verrano of "Project Runway", told Rachel: "You look fabulous! I love you in that dress." Our Rachel seemed to float off the ground at this point but recovered herself enough to ask for a photo with the designer.

The biggest star to grace us with a personal kiss kiss was Paula Abdul who entered the suite with an entourage of photographers and assistants. There was a big to do about her and she did not disappoint. Her kind remarks about how beautiful our work looked were much appreciated. We will remember her as a warm and sincere celeb.

Running a show in a room filled with such energy and glittery personas takes its toll. However, we are today showing in Baltimore Maryland at the American Craft Fair, Baltimore Convention Center booth 1614. This wholesale and retail event has been part of the Nourot show schedule off and on for 30, yikes, years. There is allot to see in all media so if you are in the area, come by the booth and visit Micheal, Nick and Annie. They have free passes, so call us and we'll get you in touch.

Here at the shop we are busy following up on all the leads to celebs who wanted to buy a piece.

Most notable is The Ellen Show--they want Ellen to dance astride one of our LS Flutes. Good luck with that, Ellen.
Keenan Thompson from SNL wants a big Red Satin Flute for his Mom's Birthday,; he was so sweet.
Terril Owens picked out a big Thunder which is a huge flat sided vessel about 16 inches tall. He sure knows what he likes.
Other stars seemed to want follow up calls like Tom Arnold and Tim Kang, so we are busy trying to get in touch to finalize the delivery of Nourot Glass pieces they wanted.

There's probably more celebrity news to tell so until tomorrow it's ta ta for now!
